students
When it comes to student accommodation, not everyone’s needs are the same. Postgraduate students would seek a quieter and more private living environment and on the other hand, undergraduates, especially first-years, might prioritise social opportunities. At SPACE, we understand these diverse requirements and offer a range of options to cater to both groups.

As an Undergraduate, we appreciate that finding the right student accommodation is an important decision to make sure you make the very most out of your experience at University.
Whilst you may believe that opting for student halls is your most obvious option in first year, you should be aware that SPACE can offer you modern and enhanced facilities to help you balance your social and study time more effectively.
Here are some of the perks of going with a purpose built student accommodation campus in your first year:
- More flexibility, including private and shared room types to suit your own preferences
- Beautifully finished, modern rooms with enhanced features available like private terrace gardens
- A range of onsite amenities meaning everything is at your fingertips, including social and study spaces, laundry facilities, pedal and e-bikes and state-of-the-art gym and workout space
- More onsite support from our 24/7 team, including student welfare and a robust programme of events to help you create and develop new friendships
- More flexibility- you have the option to reserve your space after clearing, by which point University Halls are often no longer an option

graduates
As a Post Graduate student, whether that be a Masters or PhD candidate, you will often have lots of considerations, including securing funding, part-time work, and ensuring work-life balance. When it comes to choosing your accommodation, you may also have very different needs and wishes from a typical Undergraduate student.
Here are some reasons SPACE is perfect for Postgraduate study:
- More privacy, with our main room type being a fully self-contained en-suite studio
- More space- our typical studio is 21 square metres, and includes a separate living area and desk space for working
- We are located a 15 minute walk from the main University buildings, providing a calmer and less immersive experience than those located in the centre of town
- Break out spaces designed for all types of student experiences, such as private dining rooms for hosting get togethers and dinners.
